WEIGHT LOSS: Re-starting your YOGA practice

The Summer months have flown by, and the Holiday  Season is swiftly creeping up on us again. I can still remember the last New Years Resolution I made.  Do YOU remember yours?   For some, maybe higher earnings were your goal. For others, maybe better health practices, a more active lifestyle, or making family your priority. Now, I would like to inquire about those of you who may have desired to loose those few extra pounds gained over the Holiday Season. How is that working out for you? Well, I have a proposal to make. I propose starting before the Holiday Season, shedding those unwanted pounds, one practice at a time.

Beginning the first Wednesday of October, the 7th, 2015,  we will be developing a Yoga practice geared with the intent to do just that. Shed those unwanted pounds before the next round of holidays arrive.  Our goal will be to first, acknowledge that this is our desire. At this point, a goal must be set and a sincere effort must be made to our self, for our own success.  Secondly, we have to develop a personal pledge to be disciplined enough to be engaged in a weekly practice to help bring body, mind and spirit into alignment. This will encourage centering and clarity, for without clarity, there can be no resolution.   Lastly, after an evaluation of each participant, your needs and desires, as well as health concerns,  a plan will be developed to encompass the entire classes needs to achieve the highest level of health and wellness. ( and hopefully shed a few pounds).

This series of classes are to begin:

October 7th, 2015

Wednesday evening

Things to know

Arrive at least 10 minuets early to find your sacred spot.

Enter through the main entrance of the house.

Wear loose comfortable clothing.

Bring a mat and small blanket.

(if you do not have these items, I may have enough to share)

Bottled water.

Eat only a small snack before as Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach.
